LAS VEGAS, NEVADA
What a place, never a dull
moment. People do not know what sleep means. You just go until
you drop!!

Bally's was where I stayed one time
when I went. It was great, it has 2820 newly remodeled rooms and
suites. Five Superby Restaurants with 56,000 sq. ft of Casino
gambling available. Entertainment in the Celebrity Room with
Superstars from Liza Minnelli to George Carlin.
Less than a decade ago, Las Vegas was
strictly a 24-hour adult gambling mecca, with budget rooms, cheap
buttets, lounge acts and 99-cent shrimp cocktails. Remnants of
old "Sin City" are there - you can still gamble and eat
at all hours of the day and night. but more diversified forms of
amusement have flourished in this desert landscape: an exploding
volcano, a resinkable pirate ship, roller coasters and theme
parks. The Entertainment Capital of the World now offers
something for both young and not-so-young players. To attract not
only gamblers but everyone to their casino resorts, developers
have imploded hotel after hotel, obliterating Las Vegas' short
history to make way for newer, bolder and more lavish creations.
What to do: The Strip at night,
the Femont Street Experience, Treasure Island's live pirate show,
nightly volcano eruptions at the Mirage, MGM Grand Advertures
Theme Park, the Luxor Pyramid, the Mardi Gras-style Show and
more...
Shopping: After getting lucky at
the gaming tables, there's no shortage of souvenir shops and
other stores to help you spend your winnings
Sightseeing: Tourists find
themselves so awed by the spectacular Strip and downtown sights,
many forget there is life, culture and a strong sense of
community just minutes away, such as the Hoover Dam.

The Luxor, The Flamingo
Hilton, and New York-New York are just a few names of great
hotels to stay at Las Vegas, Nevada
